Starline’s innovative design offers a flexibility that no other product on the market offers – the ability to add or relocate plug-in modules anywhere on the raceway quickly and easily, eliminating the added cost of an electrician to reconfigure circuits, receptacles and wiring. Insulated copper bus bars are preinstalled in the raceway sections and with Starline Plug-In Raceway, you simply snap the pre-assembled plug-in modules into place on the raceway backplane and the connection to power is made automatically without having to interrupt power.
 An optional Datacom channel is available for data, video and audio applications. And computer and phone jacks can be placed at any location on the cable channel quickly and easily.

Reliability If you know the name Starline, you know that reliability is the backbone design criteria for all of our systems. This system is tested to meet NEC and UL standards and has the ETL mark. Joints and plug-in units require no maintenance.
Aesthetically appealing – The raceway is built with a smooth aluminum finish and its compact design requires minimal space. Starline Plug-In Raceway is available in white, or metallic silver finish. Custom colors are available.

Ever-increasing transistor densities and higher-speed clocks are causing an increase in kW power density, resulting in increased cooling requirements in today’s modern data center. For every kW increase in power, an equal amount of cooling capacity is required. Starline is a modular, build-as-you-need, overhead, high-density, electrical distribution system that is designed and rated to meet and exceed the rigorous reliability demands and thermal requirements of mission-critical facilities.
Starline eliminates all the distribution panels associated with traditional systems, so changes and additions can be easily made without shutting off power!
This busway system offers plug-in units with a wide variety of receptacles, circuit breakers, and drop cords. Multiple circuit breaker plug-ins are offered and can be used in high-density applications. The simple “turn-n-lock” connection at the heart of the system has transformed the design and lowered the costs of maintaining and upgrading today’s data centers. Plug-in units located anywhere along the busway can include almost any NEMA configuration.
- Lower Cost – Starline Track Busway is the simple, versatile, fast and economical solution for supplying power to electrical loads. The low material cost is comparable to conduit and wire material costs, and is much lower priced than larger, conventional busway products.
The busway can be tapped at any location with a variety of plug-in units. Eliminated are panel boards, long runs of conduit and wire, and expensive installation costs.

- Reliable – Continuous up-time is absolutely critical for data center facilities. The unique, turn-n-lock, “compression-fit”, connection method used for plug-in units is the key to the reliability of Starline Track Busway. Insert the turn-n-lock plug head anywhere along the busway run and rotate the plug 90 degrees. This stab makes a “compression-fit” into the channel-shaped busbars and result in a constant, reliable connection – eliminating power interruptions caused by overheating or loss of connections. Also, once the plug-in unit is turned into the connection position, it can be secured or locked into place, reducing the risk of accidental power disruption.
